Less traditional projects have included writing for a monthly publication geared toward HR professionals; ghost- and co-writing op-ed and law review articles; and policy research to assist nonprofits in strategic planning.

Wrote legal and non-legal memoranda; worked with clients and advocates to define the major issues facing their communities; educated low-income communities on public benefits issues; and performed administrative advocacy within the New Mexico Human Services Department.

Projects included drafting a chapter for a treatise on employee privacy law; writing an Office Action Response to the U.S. Trademark Office; and drafting a brief section for a pro bono § 1983 suit alleging the excessive use of force by police officers.
