Work involves primarily litigation relating to consumer protection, intellectual property, and antitrust. Heavily involved in the firm’s litigation on behalf of consumers against debt settlement companies who prey on financially struggling consumers, as well as litigation on behalf of a nationwide class of NCAA student-athletes against the NCAA and video game publisher Electronic Arts, alleging right-of-publicity violations based on the use of athletes’ likenesses without their permission. Co-authored "What a Tangled Family Tree We Weave: Trademarks, Publicity Rights, and The Cross-Pollination of First Amendment Defenses Through Video Games," published in the Journal of International Media & Entertainment Law.
Provide high-quality legal research and writing on a wide variety of issues to assist attorneys in their litigation and transactional practices. Cases have ranged from national class actions, to small business disputes, to individual family law cases. Also conducted a 7-month comprehensive review/analysis of licensing contracts for a large corporation. Less traditional projects have included writing for a monthly publication geared toward HR professionals; ghost-writing an op-ed; and policy research to assist nonprofits in strategic planning.

Worked on a variety of systemic advocacy projects on behalf of low-income New Mexicans. Wrote legal and non-legal memoranda; worked with clients and advocates to define the major issues facing their communities; educated low-income communities on public benefits issues; and performed administrative advocacy within the New Mexico Human Services Department.
